I still haven’t realised it fully, but yes, I got taken to The Waterside Inn for my birthday by my amazing husband!! And it was everything you’d expect it to be.
Forage trip 3: Garlic Mustard walk or the Pony Walk
A plant that combines Garlic and Mustard? I wonder why I haven’t heard of it before… Not surprisingly it is called Garlic Mustard or Alliara Petiolata and it is now the best time to forage it if you’re lucky to find some around.
Blood Orange & White Chocolate Cheesecake
Ordering 5kg of blood oranges was over estimating my enthusiasm to make marmalade… so I had to come up with ideas to use up some of these tangy and gorgeous looking oranges. This cheese cake is very creamy and could possibly be eaten only with its crunchy and gingery base, but the tangy blood orange jelly cuts through the white chocolate and served cold it makes a refreshing dessert.

Imagine basking in the sun on a lounger beside a pool and lazily looking up from your magazine to gaze at the small café where you got married? This is what you get when you decide to exchange vows with your amazing husband at the Brockwell Lido in London. Mr and Mrs Harris will feel that way every time they visit their local swimming pool and how many people can say that they’ve got married in a venue where they can go to every single day? I love local weddings, and especially those in small venues that carry so much meaning for the couple.
